2017 Road Season Reminders
The WCCC hopes everyone has had a great start to 2017 and is gearing up for the Road Season. Below is some useful information that we encourage all of you to read and pass along to your team.
Races
The race schedule has been posted on the WCCC website. As you can see, it is only an 8 weekend season, which is a little shorter than in previous years.
Additionally, because of the timing of Sea Otter and collegiate nationals, selections for nationals will be made after the conference championships, but individual and team omnium winners will be determined after Sea Otter.
Licenses
Everyone else- renew your collegiate licenses! Do this online at www.usacycling.org.
You will need a collegiate license to do collegiate races, and one day licenses are only available onsite for the lowest categories.
Upgrades
You can read all about the criteria for upgrading in the USA Cycling rule book and in the WCCC rule book. If you are going to request an upgrade, you will need to do it before 9pm on Friday before the race weekend.
New Teams to the WCCC
If you are a recently formed or re- formed team in the WCCC and need help with anything related to running your team and racing, send an email to the Conference Director.
