The WCCC's First Track Season - by USAC

The WCCC’s first track season in a very long time has gotten off to a good start with two omniums so far this year. On May 9, collegiate riders battled it out in a omnium and team pursuit. The second race featured a collegiate sprint tournament where eight of the fastest riders in the conference went faced off until only two were left. Currently, University of California, San Diego is in the lead of the team and individual standings.
 
There are still more collegiate races to come, including a keirin tournament on May 23 and omniums on June 27. Racers can also double-up on race days and participate in regular USAC category racing.
